Created in 1984, you all know the story of CHOCAPIC® cereal. One day, a wave of chocolate flooded a field of wheat. Et Paf! It made CHOCAPIC®! Delicious, but not just that. Since 2016, CHOCAPIC® has enjoyed doing things in a much more responsible way, in particular by establishing a partnership with local farmers in France to limit its impact on the environment. With this PRÉFÉRENCE approach, farmers are better paid for producing better quality wheat! CHOCAPIC® uses only local factories that are more respectful of the environment in most of the markets (France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Chile), fully recyclable packs (cardboard and plastic) and an ORGANIC version which today embodies a commitment at the heart of our values. IS THE DREAM FOR MAKING CHOCAPIC® Since 2016, CHOCAPIC® has been working hand in hand with agricultural cooperatives and French whole wheat producers who have volunteered to change practices on their farms. With the “PRÉFÉRENCE”* approach, we are proud to help our 129 partner farmers to adopt cultivation methods that are better for people and for the environment. Preservation of soil quality, water resources, biodiversity, to encourage these practices, at CHOCAPIC® we pay an additional bonus to our partner farmers! Today, thanks to all this, “PRÉFÉRENCE” wheat covers 100% of the whole wheat needs for the CHOCAPIC® cereals sold in France (excluding ORGANIC). CHOCAPIC®, still as good and even better for farmers and the planet!
CHOCAPIC® ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE WITH ORGANIC
The unique taste of CHOCAPIC® cereals has existed in an ORGANIC version since 2018! And since 2021, we have been gradually developing a French organic whole wheat sector, our first ingredient, in order to meet the ever-increasing expectations of consumers for local supply. Our ambition is that by 2025, 100% of our organic whole wheat will be French. Organic farming uses techniques that preserve natural resources, the environment and biodiversity by strictly limiting the use of synthetic chemicals. The application of very strict rules, described in regulation (EC) n°834/2007, is necessary to obtain organic certification in Europe. That is why, every year, our partners and our factories are subject to an audit to verify their compliance with the requirements of biological agriculture.
Et Paf! Today, CHOCAPIC® cereals are not only tasty chocolate cereals, but they are also cereals with a Nutri-Score A.

Since the early 2000s, we have been gradually reducing our sugar, saturated fatty acid and salt* content. And from 2003, with the introduction of whole wheat which doubled the fiber rate of our cereals and made it possible to increase their protein content, CHOCAPIC® was committed to a better breakfast for health by starting a long process to improve the nutritional quality of its recipes.
