Do Nestlé® breakfast cereals contain a lot of sugar?
No, it’s not true. Our cereals do contain sugar with ½ tsp – 2 tsp on average in one serving. In addition, the first ingredient of our cereals are whole grain and contain goodness of fiber, vitamins & minerals. Simply check our packaging as it’s clearly labelled in line with food labelling requirements. Also, all of our cereals carry the ‘Nutrition Information Panel’; a clear, transparent guide to how much protein, carbohydrate, fat and sugar is in a single portion.
What is a balanced breakfast?
You should have a mix of carbohydrates, fibre, protein, vitamins & minerals, and you can choose pretty much what you like, as long as you pick from the different food groups: grains, fruit and dairy - and of course a glass of water. Read more
