Share it with your friends

Breakfast is part of a healthy and balanced diet. Whether it’s a quick bite as you run out the door, or a quiet moment before your day starts, breakfast is important.

Our pursuit of a better breakfast will never end.

We promise to challenge ourselves to continually improve our current products and expand our portfolio to offer a range of breakfast cereals that meet our consumers’ needs

We are in a continuous journey to continuously improve our recipes: increasing the amount of whole grain, lowering the sugar and salt, and removing artificial colors and flavors.

Our constant innovation

We are able to offer our consumers breakfast cereals which:

• Are comparatively lower in salt and sugar, have a higher level of whole grain, and added essential nutrients

• Take advantage of nutrition trends and science to deliver better products to our consumers

• Embrace new ways of delivering great taste

Since 2003 we are very proud that in all our cereals carrying the green banner, we have*:

50%

more whole grain introduced, for a minimum of 8g whole grain in each serving

20%**

Sugar reduction

25%**

Salt reduction

Reduced use of artificial colors & flavors

*on average in our recipes, between 2003 and 2018

**based on Nestlé® branded breakfast cereals and bars total 2018 volume. Sugar levels are based on labeled values.

AS OF TODAY

100%

of our ready-to-eat breakfast cereals are made up of whole grains as the No.1 Ingredient.

100%

of the portfolio has 3g or more fiber per 100g

>92%

of our cereals have equal to or less than two teaspoons of sugar (≤10g) per 30g serving

96%

"But we know we have to go further. We want to live up to our consumers’ expectations and continue to make our breakfasts better – creating nutritious cereals which still offer the great taste our consumers love."
