8. Gluten-free berry oatmeal muesli
Set your mother's morning off right with gluten-free muesli. This is a breakfast that will need to be put together the night before. Simply heat the oven and spread some walnuts, GO FREE® Honey or Plain Cornflakes cereal and oats onto a baking tray. In a small bowl mix some honey and buttery baking spread and then drizzle over your cereal mixture.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, stir halfway through. Pop the muesli in a serving bowl with a good topping of fresh fruits and a drizzle of honey, and you have yourself some tasty berry oatmeal muesli.
9. Gluten-free muffins
These muffins make a great Mother’s Day breakfast. They are a great twist to our SHREDDIES® oat and carrot muffins! Easy to make and quick to bake, these muffins could not be simpler. In a mixing bowl add your buttermilk, melted buttery baking spread, lemon juice, and eggs, then combine. Set the mixture aside.
In another mixing bowl, place your flour, crushed MULTIGRAIN CHEERIOS®, baking powder, baking soda, salt, granulated sugar, and then combine.
Add your wet ingredients to your dry until combined, the batter will be thick and soft. Gently fold the berries and the rest of the ingredients together. Once complete, add to your muffin tray, and bake for 10 minutes.
Serve these tasty muffins with your mum’s favourite juice, add a little flower to the tray too and carry it up to bed for her special day!
